Boutique Gourmet Dining at Belmont -

A dozen diners have the chance to book a five-course gourmet feast cooked by acclaimed chef Akshay Borges, with accommodation for the night in Unst’s luxurious Georgian country-house, the architectural jewel in Shetland's crown.

And they will also be offered a selection of local Shetland Reel gins before dinner, matched wines to accompany each course, and a flight of single malt whiskies afterwards, with coffee and chocolate. We're planning to offer this by arrangement if there is sufficient demand.

Mr Borges, former star of the Scalloway Hotel’s kitchens, has been mounting ‘pop-up’ restaurants in various locations over the past few months. This, though will be a unique residential dining experience. Belmont House was restored from a ruinous state by the Belmont Trust and is now run as self catering accommodation and as a venue. If you and your friends are interested, please get in touch.
